In addition to playing a pivotal role in the redevelopment of the City of Sunny Isles Beach and the City of North Miami Beach, Hans, as City Attorney, played a pivotal role with its founding leaders in the creation of the City of Miami Gardens, the largest African-American city in the State of Florida.  Miami Gardens is the home of the world-famous music celebration known as Jazz in the Gardens and the home of the Miami Dolphins.   As a result of his work in creating sustainable and self-sufficient communities in South Florida, Hans has been recognized as one of the Top Government Lawyers by Florida Trend’s Magazine and South Florida Legal Guide.
